Hello community,
I'm piloting Jira ticketing for our mechanical engineering team as a first-timer. I was wondering if it would be possible to produce such a diagram using Jira's tools or BI.
At the moment, categories are Components. The Y-axis is cumulative hours, and the X-axis is obviously annual quarters. Hour tracking is done by integrated Tempo.
Let me know if something is amiss.

Hope it helps.
If you are looking for an add-on that can produce any kind of reporting visualization – including the median line in your example (or any other custom element), our app Report Builder has an integrated framework that allows you to create any Jira data output with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. There are no limits as to what is possible.
It requires some scripting/coding, but it is still way easier and more cost effective than implementing a full-blown BI solution just for that.
And we can help you with creating a very specific report just for you as we have done for many customers already.

Welcome to the community.
With default ootb option, no this is not possible.
You cloud look at reporting apps on the Atlassian Marketplace, like;
- Custom Charts for Jira
- Rich Filters for jira
But even then the median line is not an option, this would require a BI tool as as solution.
You could look at app that can export Jria data to a BI tool.
As I see you are on premium, you should also have the option Atlassian Analytics, you could look into that, as this is simply said a BI solution.

Thanks @Marc - Devoteam
I will look into those and see if other users have something additional to contribute. If they would have same kind of charts in use.

Follow up - It seems that we have eazybi contract. I think this should work, if I understood it correctly.
