Custom field archival procedure

We have lots of custom fields which are having very less usage and we are planning to delete, before deleting we want to make less used custom fields archive to check the users usage which teams comes back to enable.

is there any script to archive all unused/less used 100 + custom fields or to make disable those custom fields

Archiving a custom field is not an option in Jira.

You can either delete the custom field or remove them from the screen schemes.  Removing them from the screen schemes will mostly prevent user from using the field.

Hi @Benjamin , 

Thanks for the suggestion, any existing script to remove custom fields from Screen schemes why because we have around of 350 custom fields manually removing will take lot of time. please suggest any script if already exists.
