Custom field for multi text -- pre defined text

  Can you please let me know how to achieve the pre defined text for a field description, is it possible through any some script or any other options.

OOTB no, there is no way to add default text to the system Description field. You can leverage custom fields and make them required on create.

Hi Suma - this is what I do. As Jack suggests I create a custom paragraph field and use default text in it and make it required (and I also hide the Description field on the create screen). Then after the issue is created I have an automation rule that replaces the Description value with the value from the custom field.

Can you please help me with the rule ,is it using script runner ??
