Custom field set as a required but behaves as an optional

1. I have created a custom field named "Plataforma", set it as a required

2. Now, when I am creating an issue of a custom type, the field "Plataforma" is behaving as an optional.

If you have set the field as required in the right field configuration, then my guess is that you've not managed to connect that field configuration to the project and issue type.

Thank you Nic, it was not configured properly. Now works fine :-).
