Custom fields that can't be edited

Hi Guys, 

Is it possible to have a field which can be viewed but can't be edited once created? Like I have a field for approvals of a project and a date, so once the issue is created, no one can edit those fields.

Hi @Ismail Sanni , yes this is possible.

For this, you need to split the current screen into a View Issue Screen and an Edit Issue Screen and associate these issue operations to the correct screen in your screen scheme.

You leave the custom field on the Create and View Issue Screen, but you remove it from the Edit Issue Screen.

@Dave Mathijs Thanks for the answer, I was thinking of doing this, but I thought the View screen and edit screen are the same
