Customise JIRA side bar

When I'm looking at my dashboard, on the left hand side, there is the side bar with mostly unused space, which can be expanded to even larger, with a lot more empty space on it. Is there a way to add direct icons/links to projects, filters, etc. to this sidebar? I find it terribly annoying having to click on projects, wait for it to load, then choose the project i want and guess.. Wait for it to load, of course.

Hi Mate,

Unfortunately, it's not possible to perform much customizing.

You can create some links if you want, in the "hamburguer" menu.

Thank you for your reply! Unfortunate, It would be a great feature though. Thank you for the suggestion, I'll have a look at the "hamburger" menu option!
