Hi All,
I have a gadget on the Dashboard that is not displayed correctly to all Logged-In users.
The filter is enabled for all logged-in users.
The dashboard is only displayed correctly when I grant myself permissions in the project.
How can I fix this error?
Many thanks
Hi,
Can you check with the users if they are able to view the filter and it's data via the filter search.
There could be a chance they might not be having permission to the project. The users are required to have browse permission.
Can you share the screenshot for the dashboard per the user perspective?
Hi Piyush,
indeed the User do not have permission for Project. This is a condition because the User should only view the Dashboard without access to the Project, Board or Issues. Is there a possibility to share Dashboards It more like a
Is there a way to display the results from the filter without the permission filter search?

Hi,
User can visit or access the dashboard, but not with the access of the dashboard data. Dashboard consists of gadgets, filter wherein these gadget shows data from the project; hence the user should have access to it.
Suggestion:
I'll prefer here as add the user view-only permission (create a role, as 'Read only' and add it to the project and permissions) which won't hinder other permissions.
Once the user have only the access permission, then he can view the dashboard gadget data. Also note that if the filter associated with the gadget isn't shared with user then user can't view the gadget data too; user can't view those issues in the gadget wherein the issues are bind with issue security.
