Dashboard filter count mismatch to filter results

Filter in format:

"request type" = "x" and "custom_field_1" is not empty ORDER BY created DESC

Returns 1 value when manually searched

When used in a filter count, returns 0

Is this a bug?

The only thing that I can think of is that you have a criteria on Total. Select the pen icon of the second image. It should show you this:

So the criteria should be empty. (In the criteria you can only narrow the filter down, giving you less hits).

Could you check if it is empty?

In that case it indeed does not make sense. I would suggest you create and save a new filter (with another name) and add a new number gadget to the dashboard.

There are only two things I can think of:

1. You've selected a different filter (with the same name)
2. You are watching the dashboard with another browser and as another user (which does not have the correct filter permissions).

But I guess both will not apply, hence I suggested to recreate everything.

I checked the above & all is as expected.

I tried recreating everything and I still have the same issue.
