Hey!
I have a problem with Dashboard Permissions in Jira Cloud.
The problem is that if I am the first owner of the dashboard (created by me), then I can add and remove users as editors or viewers.
If I transfer the role of the owner to someone else, then the new owner cannot operate with permissions but I still can make changes.
Looks like that only only first owner can change permissions for the dashboard.
Is this how permissions are supposed to work? Looks like a bug.
Are you sure that you change the ownership? Because it can be done by admin.
If you mean sharing (editors, viewers), it doesn't provide ownership. They can either view or edit the dashboard.
Hey @Tansu Akdeniz , yup I'm sure because I'm both an admin an project lead.
That's why I'm confused, being an admin I have no rights to share dashboards with other users (adding users for view/edit dashboard). But I can do it if I'm an owner of this dashboard.
I have a group inside editors, nobody from them can share dashboard, they can edit only gadgets inside the dashboard only.

Hi Irina,
This sounds like a bug to me. I would submit a support ticket to Atlassian:
