Database picker custom field in Jira Software Cloud

Hi all! 

We're in the middle of a migration from Jira Software to Cloud. On our server instance we use a custom field Database Picker (via Scriptrunner a script connecting to our local database). While migrating we noticed this isn't supported in cloud. 

We're using this custom field to retrieve our customers from our database -> this ensures us that our list us up to date. Does any have any good recommendations or alternatives?

Two that I've used before are Elements Connect and External Data Fields! You could check out either one of those! There appear to be additional options out there, but I've had success with the two linked above.
