Hi, I am an admin to our JIRA instance. I didn't see any option to delete the Active Sprint in an Agile Board. where can we see/configure the Sprint Permissions. in System --> Global permissions, I didn't see any option for Sprint permission. how and where to configure the Sprint permissions.
Please help me out.
The Manage Sprint permission is set by the Permission Scheme. This scheme is directly related to the project(s) included in the board. Check the Project schema to see how the Manage Sprint permission is associated.
Appreciate your Quick response Josh...
I checked the Permission Scheme, and I didn't notice any Sprint related Project Permissions (in any of the Projects aswell) in scheme. How can I add a permission (for Sprint) in Permission scheme?

Here's a link to Atlassian's documentation on Permission: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwarecloud/permissions-overview-764478244.html
If you navigate to the link above, search for "manage sprint" on the page.
You have to be a system administrator to make these updates.
You'll either have to update the permission scheme or add your account to the appropriate role in the project. Below is a screenshot of part of the Permission Scheme:

Hi Josh,
I don't see "Manage Sprints" permission under Project Permissions or any where. I see all Other like Administer Projects, browse projects, etc,.
Our JIRA instance is V6.3. Don't we have the Manage Sprints feature available for 6.3?

Nagaraju,
The Manage Sprints permission is available. Is it possible that you are not a system admin? The only other possibility I see is that you're using a Permission Scheme that doesn't have Manage Sprints, but I'm not sure that it would be completely missing, but would rather have the option visible, yet no permissions given.
