Description field got empty

We, get to see that the description field got empty in JIRA.

Hi John,

THe Description field got emptied in a project .we haven't done any changes to Description field in JIRA project but the value present in it are not present now.

Take a look at the history for one of the issues to see what it says about the field.

Nothing regarding the field is mentioned in History of the issue.

That would tell me that the issue was created with nothing in the field. Otherwise there would be an entry in the history where the value was removed.
