Hi,

When viewing Jira tickets in Chrome i cannot see the description field.I am using a version of chrome Version 72.0.3626.119 (Official Build) (64-bit), when i go to edit the ticket i can see the text in the description field.  I can view correctly in IE 11.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hey Eoin,

I am using the same version of Chrome and it all looks good for me.

So, here are couple things to check that could help you to figure what's going on:

1. Could you please check if you experience the same when using incognito mode?
This would disable all possible add-on of the browser.

2. Could you please check if you experience the same using another network?
Say, home network?

3. Is it happening just for you or other users as well?

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Vasily

Hi Vasily,

Cheers for the response. Incognito mode worked perfectly!

Next step is to understand which add on is the issue! As the only ones I have are google based.

Docs, Sheets, Slides Google docs offline.

Eoin,

I would usually suspect something "hidden" (unwanted add-on that was installed without you knowing) or something what could modify networking, like VPN.

You could also try to reset your browser to default settings:

If none of the above helps, I would probably start disabling add-ons one-by-one to find the problem.

Hope it helps!

Cheers,
Vasily
