Hi all,

I have a problem with automation rules in Jira. So here is my case :

If user create ticket through Jira Service Desk, the status is "Need Investigation."
So I clone the issues to another board (Let's say MIB board) but the rules in the MIB board start the status with To Do. So whenever the ticket was created by user, the status is always to do even in the Jira Service Management is "Need Investigation"

So I create this rule

But, unfortunately, it didn't work. The status is still To Do. Here is the error log I've got.

Would you like to help me? I'm getting frustrated here :'(

Hi,

I believe this is failing because it is trying to transition the Jira Service Management issue to  "Need Investigation", which it already is.

You can use Branch rule/related issue in Automation and then transition the issue.

Thanks,
