Developer need to update the assignee while moving ticket to QA column or not?

Yes @Client there is separate column for QA, my point is why developer is assignee for the tickets in the QA column? is there any specific reason not to update assignee?

Could you please explain what exactly you wish to achieve and more details about the use-case

There is case where i asked developer to update the assigne (To QA) when they are moving the tickets from In progress column to ready for QA cloumn. 

is this the right way of doing this or we need not to change the assignee to QA?

Hello @Rahul Joshi

It's more of a process question, you can request the developer or you can also automate this by adding this functionality in the post-function of the transition that takes the issue to "ready for QA" column such that every issue moving to this status get's assigned to QA lead.
