I integrate Gitlab with Jira in an old project development field exist but in a new project after the integration the development section not showing up i try many solutions but no results i want to know this is a bug or what ?
Make sure that you have your Gitlab connected to your Jira and that is indeed showing in the Development tools. You need to be the project administrator in order to view this section.
Also, take a look at the issue layout as well and make sure that the Development field is there.

This needs to be checked from the admin side as well for that option. Also, to be checked if there is a View screen that has been added to the screen scheme and if the Development field is excluded from there.
