When i move an issue from one column to another column.
The moved issue is focussed on the other column and there by moving away from the view in the original column.
I want to disable this feature.
When i move an issue to another column i don't want to move to the issue but yust stay on the same place in the screen.
Hey Alexander,
What type of project is this?
If I understand you correctly, you want to change statuses of the issue (not really change columns) but have the card stay in the same column? Is that correct? If so, it will really depend on the type of project it is.
Hey John,
It is a company-managed project.
No, our situation is a follow.
I have cards in our new issues colum and i want to drag them to our Backlog column or our ASAP column.
But the problem is our new issues has 12 cards and backlog 50, asap 5.
When i drag a card from new issues to for example backlog.
The card is possition at the bottom and the window is scrolling down to focus on the moved card in the backlog column. (it is also the selected card in the url paramters).
But i want for the window to stay where it is, so i can select the next card without scrolling back up to top and looking where was.
Important to know our board is first sorted on a date so rank is less important.

Ah, I have a better understanding now - thanks for the explanation. I can duplicate the same in my instance.
I guess one solution might be that you can move multiple cards at once by holding down the CTRL button and selecting each card and them move all of them at one time. Would that help?

Won't be ideal.
Can't there be a setting to follow the selected card?

You would have to make that suggestion to Atlassian.
