Ron July 24, 2020

I have installed Jira Software (server),

the install started with quite a few users (like trello),

do those users count towards my total user count?

Hello @Ron

Thank you for reaching out.

App users added by third-party add-ons to integrate/execute commands on Jira does not count as a Jira paid license in your Application, no matter what groups or application access it is added to.

Now, if that "Trello" user was manually added by you or your team (Not provided by a third-party app) and it is configured with application access, it will count as a paid license in your application.

That being said, I suggest you check the description of the Trello user you mentioned and confirm if you have any plugin that provided that user on your site, properly removing it if there is no application or other persons of your team using that user.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Its is only

  • Jira Service Desk Widget
  • Automation for Jira
  • Github (production)

It says I have 6 users using Jira Software, that is including those 3.
How can I check the actual used amount of license seats?
Or I have to just subtract those myself?
