Do we have a Default assignee option in Jira cloud?

when ever the users create a ticket it should automatically assign to respective project lead.

I would like to set this in Jirasoftware (Cloud) .

I am unable to find the option in Project>Summary >Roles>Default assignee

Unable to view anything related to default assignee in "ROLES">View project roles

Please suggest

It is the same as the server version - go to the project and go to project admin -> Details, and then check project admin -> components for the automatic assignee.

Note that team-managed projects don't have the component functionality for this.

Go to the Details page under Project Settings. 

Then change the Default Assignee value to Project Lead.
