Does a maximum number of levels exist in JIRA regarding the Hierarchy levels? We are looking to have Initiative -> Feature -> Epic -> Story (and of course Sub-Task). Can this level be configured for both JIRA and Portfolio? Is there a maximum number of levels?

I'm not sure about a maximum number of levels, but the hierarchy you listed should work. We currently use a similar hierarchy in my organization: Initiative > Milestone > Epic > Story > Subtask.
