Does resolution restrinction in workflow affect to the issues that have already that resolution?

Hi all!!! 

I have this scenario. 

It seems that in jira somebody have created some new resolution  in spanish that already exist in english langueage (I am the new administrator) and an user want to restrict the resolution that they are seing when transition to final status. 

The thing is that the project per se has issues already created with both resolutions.

And my question is, if I restrict the resolutions in workflows by properties, the existing issues are still going to show the resolution that they had assign?

Hi Roasana,

Yes, any new resolutions that get set will have no effect on the resolutions that are already captured/populated.

so if I have an issue closed and resolution = Listo 

and now I restrict that transtion to close not showing Listo, the issue will still show the resolution listo but in future tickets I won't be able to select it, right?
