Are there any settings that help avoid assigning a respondable to an issue that has already been canceled by the customer?
that when entering the canceled problem it is not possible to assign the person responsible
In the workflow you can place a property on the Closed status that prevents not only changing the assignee, but changing any field:
Key: jira.issue.editable
Value: false
Or you can use jira.permission.assign.denied , if you want to disable only assign.
