Hi - We have a field in our company project called Due Date. I have this field disabled from the backlog view settings because I dont use it, but since the major UI update rolled out a couple of weeks back, when I disable this field (screenshot1), and then refresh the page, it comes back re-enabled (screenshot 2). This does not happen with other disabled fields.
any ideas?
@Callum Davey This might sound silly but have you tried clearing your browsers cache or using a different browser? Sometimes when updates are released the old JavaScript causes issues that is cached in the browser.
yeah no dice unfortunately. reproducible across browsers. Atlassian have acknowledged and raised as a defect since the new UI JRACLOUD-95198

I am not sure, @Callum Davey - do you have the timeline enabled with your board as well? Asking because due date is one of the fields used to display the duration on the timeline (together with start date).

Hi @Walter Buggenhout - I do have it enabled and previously did before the recent UI update and had no issues. I just disabled it and tested again and the issue still persists. I will raise a support ticket with Atlassian. thanks!
