Hi,
We have separate projects for Requirements, Test Cases, Defects and Workarounds and we are using issue linking between requirement, test cases, defect and workaround. Is it possible to have a end to end traceability report to track which requirements have defetcs and defects associated with requirements in any way in areport format with required fields.
Will issue linking works for this kind of reports or requirement need to as a epic and this epic need to be connected all the way till workaround.
Any suggestion and best practice for pulling end to end reports in JQL or in any plugin.
Thanks,
Ash
Hi,
If you are using BDD (Behaviour Driven Development) you can create features and scenarios, and link them to user stories using the AssertThat BDD test automation plugin. The plugin also has traceability reports which links your scenarios to Jira tickets. The traceability report will display Jira issues based on JQL selection.
Any questions or if you would like a demo then please let me know.

Hey Ash,
There is no built-in Jira report that will allow you to create the report you are looking for. My best bet is to use eazyBI for Jira (server, data-center or cloud). With eazyBI you can create reports that show how issues are linked among each other and you could count the number of defects for each requirement.
Obviously eazyBI allows for many more types of reports. :)
Hope this helps!
