Edit Jira username issue

Hello all!!

I have an issue when I try to change usernames in Jira.
I'm modifying the username, e.g. from Ab1234 to ab1234, but modifications are not saved after pressing the update button.
The issue is generic, not just for one account.

Any suggestions?

What are you using as a user directory for authentication?  If you have an LDAP or Active Directory server you will not be able to update usernames from within Jira.

If you are using an external user directory you will need to speak to whoever manages that directory.
