Edit View Issue Screen Layout

Hi all,

I want to change the layout of view issue screen in Jira w.r.t:

1) Change the order of sections (like Details, Activity, Description, People, Dates)

2) Increase column width for custom field names, some of my custom field names are really long and they get wrapped to the next line and hence difficult for users to read

I suppose Jira issue view plugin.jar needs to be edited to accomplish point 1. Can point 2 also be accomplished with it?

Which files need to be changed in jira issue view plugin.jar ?

Thanks @Tansu Akdeniz does this change the custom field size or widen the custom field name column to accommodate long custom field names?

Hi @Tansu Akdeniz, these links increase the width of a field, 

My requirement is to increase width of the custom field name column so that linger custom field names can be accomodated in the view issue screen in a single line

when you update the field it is for all the fields of that custom field type.

Hi @Joe Pitt, that is ok, but field width and field name width are 2 different things. Ideally , longer field names are usually wrapped to the next line. Any possibility if they can be setup in a single line.
