Email notification to external partners

Hello All,

Is there a way to send JIRA event notification email to non-JIRA users for external partners on a specific issue status transition?

1. You could create a user in JIRA having the external partner email

2. You could write a postFunction script using ScriptRunner

3. You could use Automation for JIRA

I don't have a scriptrunner instance at the moment, so can't give you an example.
