Enabling a Disabled User

We have tried various attempts to enable a disabled user.

I am currently the Org Jira Admin and the option of enabling the user is not visible.

Are there alternative instructions? How does a user become "disabled" versus "deactivated".

Hi Albertina, welcome to the Community. Please try the following:

1. click on the cog to get to the admin dropdown
2. select User management
3. search for the user in question and be sure "All users" or "no site access" is included
4. click Grant access

Unfortunately the "Grant Site Access" does not display instead "show details" is displayed. For other deactivated users the "Grant Site Access" is visible.

and if you click on Show details what does it show? Why do you think they are disabled?
