Hello Experts,
We're checking the alternative of centralized Jira and bitbucket for our code projects but we want to isolate each project not just by permissions.
We're looking to encrypt the server with a specific key for each project and provide a client cert x.509 to access the data.
Has anyone done it before? any suggestions?
Thanks
Eli
I don't really understand what you plan to do. When you say "encrypt the server with a specific key for each project", do you refer to the data in the database? Or are you speaking of the contents in the user interface?
I think you need to outline your approach to us a bit it further.
Hi @Metin _savignano software solutions_, thanks for your feedback.
The approach is maximizing the isolation with encryption layer of the data - not just in the UI cause it will be easy to break, but in the DB and the APIs that data can be accessed.
The other way is to maintain another server with data replications where needed but the goal is to build center source for all projects and build "encryption walls" between users/projects.
Thanks

Hi @Eli Cohen
I'm afraid this sounds to me like something that would have to be supported deep in the Atlassian platform, but isn't right now.
Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi @Eli Cohen
Welcome to the Atlassian Community.
I've seen some Marketplace Apps giving partial encryption features for Jira/Confluence, but I don't think I've seen something as encrypting an entire project.
Kind regards,
Thiago Masutti
