Epic and story create error

I get Create Issue TCE: Department: TCE: Department is required.

while I want to create new Epic or new Story.

I have created several Epics and Stories before without this issue.

Any idea what does this error message means?

Hi Parto,

It sounds like "TCE: Department" is a custom field that was either recently added by your administrator as a required field or was recently made required.  If you are still on the old Issue view check to see if the field exists by clicking the Admin box and selecting "Where's my field?"  If it is there add it to the view and populate it with the department.
