Epic does not appear in the Epic link list

Hello All,

Please, would you know why I cannot find an Epic I created in the Epic List view? 

I build an Epic, but this Epic does not appear in the Epic link view of a Task. The Epic and the task are part of the same board. So, I dont know why it is happening. It is happening with a few epics only. Other Epics appear normally in the Epic Link list.

What type of project is this, company-managed or team-managed?

What type of board is this, Scrum or Kanban?

If this is for a company-managed project...

• Have you checked the board filter to determine if the new epic is being excluded somehow?
• If this is for a Kanban board, have you checked the Kanban board sub-filter to determine if that is excluding the epic?

Let me know even after typing the Epic name are you not able to see the Epic?

If you are able to browse the Epic you should be able to see the epic link list in the task when you are adding it!!

Could you please attach the screenshot and let me know your issue?

See the screenshots. I typed the entire Epic's name and the epic does not appear in the list.

I had the same issue : in my case, this epic was set to done in the past, then reopened. As a consequence, JIRA considers it is still done (if I check "Show done epics", then it appears again). Bug.
