Hi there,
To make Roadmap more useful I would like to see under Task the related Subtasks.
I found some equal questions in Community but did not find the final solution.
What I did:
1. The Epic link was added to the issue layout
2. The Task was assigned to the Epic
3. The subtask was linked (relates to) to the Task with the assigned Epic
and...
I can not see the subtask in Roadmap at all and, of course, can not see the subtask under linked Task.
Can somebody, please, help me with the solution?
Thanks.
Annoyingly, the Epic Link field does not apply to sub-tasks (if it did, it would, of course, be read-only as it would be inherited from the parent issue)
There is no simple fix for this oversight.
But you're not really expected to be looking at sub-tasks in roadmaps - they are entirely a part of their parent issue and don't need to be looked at as though they are separate.

What would you suggest if the sub-tasks had to be presented in the board by EPIC (and not by User stories)?

You'd need to create and populate a field to hold a copy of the epic link on the sub-tasks.
