Epic missing from the list after deleting its story or task

marshalyung November 18, 2018

Hi all,

When I delete a child issue under an Epic in the Roadmap view, the Epic containing the deleted child issue will be missing from the list of Epics -- giving the impression that I had somehow deleted the Epic itself.

Upon refreshing my browser, the Epic reappears in the list. The deleted child issue is deleted as it should be. In 2 occasions, I thought I had deleted the Epic with all its child issues -- shocked and frustrated -- I recreate the Epic and all its child issues again.

Is anyone having this experience? This happened to me on Google Chrome and Safari web browsers.

Would be great if deleting en Epic's child issue removes the respective child issue, but do not hide/de-list the Epic from the list of Epics. Thanks!

Hello Marshal,

This is a BUG in the roadmap feature we are tracking here:

Hey @Earl McCutcheon, thanks for letting me know. I was searching high and low but couldn't find anything remotely related to it. I'll add myself as a watcher to the bug. Definitely hope it gets resolved soon.
