We have five projects in our Jira account, all team-managed, using the Kanban template. In each of these, if we add a new epic to a board, it shows up, and we can add tasks to it.
I just added a new project, checking all the settings are the same as the others, but when I add an epic, it doesn't show up on the board. If I go to issues, I can see it, but nowhere else.
Anyone any ideas what I may have done wrong? I realise I haven't given much info, but am not sure what else to add, so please advise if there is something else I can add.
Thanks
In what status is the Epic issue in?
Does the filter of the Kanban board maybe exclude Epics?
You can try to empty the sub-filter on the board (under board settings - General).

Hello,
I have two epics, both in the "To do" status, and the board has a "To do" column. See the screenshots...
Forgot to mention that this board doesn't show filters at all (see the second screenshot), which also made me wonder if this is why nothing shows.
Not sure what you meant by your last line. The only board settings I can see are if I click the three dots over on the right-hand side, and choose "Configure board." If I do that, I don't see a General section.

Quick follow-up.
On the other boards, we added custom filters to show only issues in a certain fix-release with a certain status. I hadn't duplicated those here yet.
I just created the custom filters, and now the filter dropdown shows...
However, irrespective of what I choose in this dropdown, none of my epics show. I have checked, and the two epics should show with the filters, and (of course) should show without any filters, as the do on the other project boards.
Thanks again.
