Hello,
I'm working on a permissions scheme for my company. I see a project which doesn't exist anymore. When I click on it an error message popup as below:
"Error
I have a double check on the project list but the project name doesn't appear.
How to remove a ghost project on permission schemes?
Thank you for your answer!
Hi @Ziad Zitoun , welcome to the community!
Perhaps the project has been moved to the Trash (it will be there for 60 days in case you wish to retrieve it). If this is the case, you could remove it from the trash and edit the permissions scheme so that it is using another one.
However the easiest thing would probably be to make a Copy of the permission scheme, then delete the old one - or just skip straight to deleting it if you do not need a copy.
Hope this helps!
I would also add that to make your life easier to avoid a next time, when setting up the project make a copy of your default permission scheme your company uses and apply it to the new project. I try to keep each project partitioned off from each other as much as possible.
You can do this type of partitioning at any time and not just at creation too.

Hi Ziad - It might be that the Project is in the Trash and not fully deleted yet. If that is the case, it will not allow you to use the project, but it still shows in Schemes.
