Hi,
When creating issues for our project i get an error that unassigned issues is disabled
. but when checking the settings, it is enabled and user is an administrator, so why can't he create an unassigned issue, seems like a bug again ?
regards,
Kurt
So i found that the project setting is default assigned to project lead and i am the project lead and administrator, Though here seems to go something wrong then.
But,...
That was not what i needed, so , Switching that project option to unassigned is the clue.
Do you have assignable permission? Maybe it is trying to assign things to you but it is not possible.

Hello Automatic does not mean unassigned,
Automatic means that automatically it will get assignated either to component lead or project lead or somekind of logic in Jira, if you want to create issues unassigned it is better to create issues unassigned.
Also without knowing your configuration, maybe you have a validator at workflow level that does not allow unassigned issues. You will have to investigate further.
