When I right click on the create button and open in a new tab, the new tab has the Create Issue screen and allows me to select a project, issue type and click Next. Then I can fill out the rest of the issue on the next screen. The problem is when I click the Create button at the bottom, I get an error: "You have not selected a valid project to create an issue in."
All of the information I've found relating to this error indicates it happens to users who are not logged in, but I'm definitely logged in when I'm getting it. Anyone have any idea why this is happening?
@Thom Jackson Please check if you have the required permissions for creating and browsing issues in the project you are selecting?
@Taranjeet Singh I've tried several different projects, some of which I create issues in on a regular basis. I just checked again to make sure nothing had changed and I was able to create an issue from the dialog that comes up when you click the Create button, but not when I open the create screen in a new tab.

@Thom Jackson Can you please check JIRA's application logs (atlassian-jira.log, located in JIRA's home directory) while you perform this operation to see if you get any clue?
If you still don't get anything there, please try to reach out to Atlassian Support (https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/) for your particular issue.

I've looked in the logs but I'm not sure what to look for an nothing is jumping out at me. I'll try Atlassian Support. Thanks
