Added Story Points to fields, but estimates are not showing up on Tasks, Sub-tasks or Bugs, only Stories
Using jira data center version 9.4
Team managed project.
To update this, after a day, story points now show up on the Sub-tasks for Stories and Tasks. I wonder if some process had to run overnight before the changes to the available fields was visible. Not sure.
Now I can add story points to the Sub-tasks, but they are not reflected in the parent's estimates. I wonder if I have to wait another night....
By default, sprint estimates will not show on sub-tasks issue types, because sub-tasks are not sprint items, and hence should not be estimated.
How have you "added story points to fields"?
Hello @justesjc
Are you working with issues in a Team Managed project or a Company Managed project?
What steps did you take to "add Story Points to fields"?
Did you check the More fields panel that displays below the Details panel on the right when viewing an individual issue? Fields that have no value may be included in the "HIDE WHEN EMPTY" group in the issue Layout and would then be included in part of the More fields panel until a value is added.
