I'm using a team managed board. I'm wondering if there is a way to filter the data used for the Sprint burndown chart in any way (such as a JQL filter)?
I would like to exclude a specific ticket type from the sprint burndown chart. We are using no. of issues for the estimation method.
Thanks
Hi @Pete Ross
Short answer: no.
The Jira burndown chart shows all of the issues in the sprint for the board's filter...which is not configurable for team-managed projects.
If you need a more configurable burndown / burndown-like chart, you could investigate marketplace addons or use a company-managed project and adjust the built-in CFD to use a quick filter.
Kind regards,
Bill
If I have a company manage project is the sprint burndown or sprint report configurable? I have an issue type that I want to exclude from the reports.

Not in the way you describe: those reports show any issues in the sprint.
In my earlier post, I was suggesting an alternative to use the CFD report as it allows use of quick filters to change what is displayed for the time range...although that is for issue count and not the estimation measure (time or story points).
Kind regards,
Bill
