Our company is setting up Jira, and I'm running into a few roadblocks.
Our needs include allowing a handful of external users to have read-only access to 1 specific Jira Software project, but also have access to see their tickets from Jira Service Management all in one place.
I've tried messing with user groups and permissions but always end up getting lost in the labyrinth of pages and settings.
They also need to be able to see their service management tickets included in one convenient view.
Do I use user groups or Project roles, or both??
If someone could provide me step by step instructions that would be great.
For JSM, the external users should be going to the JSM portal. This will aggregate all of their tickets into a single view.
That only shows their JSM tickets
