Field dependencies

Hello, everyone,

I have a question about the interdependence of fields.
I have several use cases that I need to cover in our system:
- A field (check box) is activated, then one or more fields should become mandatory.
- A field (check box) is activated, then a URL should be generated in another field (text field / URL field) which contains the key of the current issue + a fixed, configurable part.

Is there such a plugin that can fulfill both applications?

I have now read a lot about possible plugins here, but never really found the use case I really need.

Since the installation of plugins is usually associated with costs, I want to make sure that I can limit myself to a few plugins and don't need x plugins for the different things.

you seem to be quite new with Atlassian tools, so I recommend to search the marketplace. You can get for all plugins evaluation licenses for free. So you can take your time to check out which plugin fullfills your requirement.

New to be responsible for some tools, yes.

But in my role as a user I am already using JIRA / Confluence for some years now.

Hi Susann,

I didn't found a plugin which provides that set of functionallity in the marketplace. So we droped the requirement and did something different.
