Hi,
I'm configuring visible fields for request. My problem is that field "Component/s" is not visible in customer portal.
I'm sure, this "Component/s" field is in Visible fields, NOT in Hidden fields.
When I set "Component/s" field as Required, It's still not present in customer portal, but I can't create request because of this error:
Any ideas why this field is not visible?
Hi @Kacper Goleń have you checked issue type screen, is it visible on Issue type screen or when trying to create issue using Create button is field visible or not.
Check fields in Request type.
Thanks
Hi @Vikrant Yadav
Yes, I've checked those things. Field is visible when trying to create issue with Create button.
While checking those things, I've found the solution!
Apparently, when there is no components in project, field "Component/s" is just hidden in Service Desk customer portal. However, while creating issue with Create button, field "Component/s" is visible with value "None".
When added some components, field is visible in Service Desk customer portal.
Thanks for guidance to solution!

Where are you wanting the field to appear exactly? While you can add Components to the create form for the customer to enter data you cannot have it appear on the list screen. If indeed you are trying to have it appear on the create form please ensure the following steps are done:

Thanks to Vikrant, I managed to solve my problem. I was missing 6th step.
Anyway, thanks for your answer!
