Good afternoon.
My jira project is configured like this: when I create a task and select an IP address in the insight(insightobject) field, the second insight(insight readonly) "Server" field is filled with the name of the server with which this ip address is associated. Objects of the IP address type have an incoming link to the "Server" object. But when I create tasks using external import, the insight field "Server" remains empty. Can you tell me how to fix it? Why the field is not filled in with this method of creating tasks.
The first field is an Assets object and the second is an Assets Referenced object?
As the referenced object is dependent on the value of the first and when you import you do everything at once, that is why the referenced field is empty. It has not had time to fetch the value from the first since you just set it and the import script does not update until after it is done.
I would assume you need to do this in two imports, just like for cascading select lists.
Hello, I also set the filling of the "IP address" field for the next workflow transition, by copying the value from one field to another, but the "Server" field remained empty.
The "IP address" field is type Insight Object\s, and the "Server" field is type Insight Readonly Object\s. My main task is to find the administrator by the completed IP address and appoint him as the executor of the task. Administrators are located in the "Server" objects with which the ip address is associated. Therefore, I am trying to display the server with which the ip address is associated, so that later I can get an administrator from the "Server" and assign him as an executor.
