Financial graphics

Hi everybody

I'm doing a financial report and would like to have some charts to show the report information, but I can't do that with Jira Reports because I don't have the option to use custom numeric fields. So I have some questions.

  • What is the best model for reporting this way? Financial models do not look like the others with a use (Business and Project Management).
  • Got a way to generate a graph with my custom numeric files?
  • Do you have any add-ons to support me on this?

Regards,

Douglas

Hi,

Please, check the eazyBI app for Jira. It allows reporting on the numeric custom fields.

Feel free to contact eazyBI support once you have further questions.

Kindly,

HI @Douglas Oliveira ,

Suggest to put some example or sample report you are looking for, this may draw additional support from the community knowing further details in that exactly you are looking for.

Usually, Jira work management is the application to use for the finance side of things:

Hi @Benjamin Thank you for answer

For example:

I created three custom fields:

Estimated price ($):
Expense ($):
Variation(%):

Like the photo. How can I create a chart with data from these fields?

I've already tested some Jira templates but I haven't found anything that does something like that.

Douglas

Ok, and what is each bar?
one issue, one project or an overall ?

for a live report, at each issue, you could use Epic Sum Up (our plugin) to get something like this:2021-11-30 09_51_36-Window.png

for a dedicated bar chart (on a dash board maybe), I know these apps:

  • easyBI : fully customizable
  • custom Charts for Jira: a lot of presets an d templates
  • Epic Sum Up : Dashboard gadget for a simple live report and progress bars

Hi @Andreas Haaken _APTIS_

Thanks for the info, I will test these add on options. Unfortunately, Jira's reports are very limited.

Douglas

You´re welcome... If you need a deepdive to Epic Sum Up , you can send me a message.

Jira´s limitations are reason enogh for a lot of cases, so I think you have to figure out what suits most.. :)
