I would like to know whether it's possible to check for the fix version field when moving stories to done.
Currently, on the board I'm working, whenever a story is moved to Done, there's a pop up where I can add some comments. I could add some or skip. Similar to that I want a check for Fix versions. I could add or skip.
How to achieve this?
Hello @Anthony Thamel
Welcome to the community.
It sounds like an admin has added a screen to the workflow Transition to Done. The admin can modify that screen to include the Fix Version field.
Hi Trudy, thank you for the prompt answer.
How can I view this workflow in JIRA settings?
Thanks

Are you working with a Team Managed project or a Company Managed project?
I suspect you are working with a Company Managed project.
A Jira Administrator (not a person who is only a Project Administrator) can view/modify the workflow by going to the the Gear icon and selecting Issues > Workflows. Or they can look at the Project Details they can see which Workflow Scheme is assigned to the project, and jump to the Workflow Scheme from there and see the Workflows that comprise the scheme.
An administrator will be able to drill into the details of the workflow and see if a screen has been associated with the transition. A non-admin user will not be able to access these details. A non-admin user might be able to view the workflow statuses and the transitions between statuses if they see the "View Workflow" link next to the Status when viewing an individual issue, but won't be able to drill into the details of individual transitions.
