I went to sign up for an account as my company wants to start using Jira. However, it appears that the url `measinc.atlassian.net` is already in use. I suspect that years ago someone here at the company signed up for a trial account and the account has been mothballed. I don't know who that user was, but they're almost certainly no longer here as I have asked around and no one knows anything about it.
Can someone provide insight into how I can gain access to this so I can convert it to a paid account and start using it?
I'm fine if we nuke the old site and continue fresh and I'm also fine taking over the old, defunct site. There just doesn't appear to be a way to contact support without already having a paid account.
Hi @Mike Taute
I can see that there was a previous site with that name, but it has been deleted as of last month. At the moment there is no site with that name. I suspect that the name might be held within a reservation system we operate. I am reaching out to my internal team to see if i can learn more about what might be holding onto that name.

Hi @Mike Taute I got an update from our team. Since the last site that had that name has been deleted, it's in a state where that name is still reserved for 30 days until the data is permanently deleted. If my math is right that should mean this site name should become available on April 10th

Excellent! Thank you! I can certainly wait 8 days. I'm looking forward to making use of Jira integrations across some of our 3rd party applications.
