Gantt chart percentage calculation

chandra bhushan July 5, 2018

Hi all,

I wanted to calculate percentage calculation based on the number of linked issue closed by the total number of linked issue.

is there is an option to achieve this in Gantt charts?

[ amount of story points within close and linked tickets/amount of story points within linked tickets ]

Hi @chandra bhushan,

We provide an add-on "WBS Gantt-Chart for Jira" which adds Gantt chart functionalities to your Jira.

Even with the add-on, you CANNOT calculate percentage calculation based on the number of linked issue closed by the total number of linked issue.

However, you CAN calculate percent done of PROJECT and VERSION based on the number of resolved issues under the project and version. Please see the related notes section on this knowledge base article for the details.

Cheers,

Sean, Ricksoft

Hello, Chandra.  Which Gantt chart solution for Jira are you using?  Or perhaps you have not chosen one yet?

Assuming you have not, and your question is about which of the Gantt solutions can do this...

What you are describing is possible with our solution (Structure for Jira, plus Structure.Gantt, which is free for Structure licensees), and maybe some of the others as well (but I cannot speak for them) :)

If you'd like more guidance about using our solution for this feel free to reach our via gantt [at] almworks [dot] com or via our support portal.

Hope this helps.  Good luck,

Hi, Chandra.  If I am understanding your question correctly—if WBS Gantt-Chart for Jira can do this—I am afraid I am not qualified to answer that question :(  However, I see that Sean from Ricksoft has responded. :)

Best of luck to you.
