Hello,
We create an issue and there is a linked issue which is automatically created. So, the assignee who is responsible for the linked issue is notified . Sometimes, we need to edit a field value in the issue(the original issue) But the assignee of the linked issue in this time can not be notified of the change done . How can we notify him?
Thanks to help please, i am waiting for your response.
Hi @tmanai - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
You should be able to do this using Automation For Jira.
Go to Project Settings
Then go to Project Automation
Create a rule for when a field value changes
Choose the field(s) you want to notify the assignee for the linked issue
Add a new component for Branch Rule / related issues
Choose linked issues and follow the rest of the way through.
Thanks for you response! But the problem that we have not the plugin Project Automation. Is there any way please to do that without plugin ?

Hi @John Funk
When I Add a new component,
(Components can either restrict execution by testing a condition, perform an action, or control flow by branching on related issues) . But in may case there is only two options.
So, i can't do the step: Add a new component for Branch Rule / related issues.
Any help please?
Thanks,
