Hello everyone !
I'm testing the possibility to send email to jira software so that a card is created automatically.
To resume I have at the end a Jira issue (bug ticket type) with this description as below :
Description of my bug ticket type in Jira:
Contains a resume of the issue encountered
email address : toto@tata.fr
serial number : 123456
In that description I want to get the email and serial number values, so toto@tata.fr and 123456 to put these values into custom fields that i created.
I tryied to use automation to do it, but i don't know what type of condition do i need to use or if it's even possible with automation or any other ways.
Could you help me with please ?
Thanks everyone !
Hi Térence,
Can you be more specific about why Automation did not work? Can you share a screenshot of your rule?
Hello thanks for your reply, i made a mistake about automation rules, i tryied to use automation to do it but I don't know what condition i need to use and mostly if it's possible to do it.
