Is it possible to dim out or make cards "grej" when some value is set on the issue? We still want to have them on the board but they are kind of in pause.
You could actually do this (albeit I am not sure if it is worth):
There is no way to do this. If things are on hold and you want to visualize this then create a status "ON HOLD" or similar and add a column. Couple this w/ the card color (sidebar) if you like.

Well it is not on hold so that is not a possibility. It is a dimming function the teams want, we have discussed several built-in functionality...
Thanks!

Understood. I should have chosen your wording of “in pause”. When I read that it conveys a status to me and That would be my choice in lieu of grey-out.
As Aron mentions below you could do with coding but you mention no coding desired in your response to Adrian.
good luck and if you come up with a solution please add as an answer for future searchers.

Thanks! I think I might do the solution "talk the users out of it" instead. Usually a good solution when it comes to complex non-out-of-the-box requirements :)

Thanks for the fast reply! But that is only changing the side color and we are looking for the whole card.

Nowadays it's not possible to change the colour of the whole card.
